Preparing to be Home Alone
Eventually all children must stay home by themselves for the first time. This can be both an exhilarating and frightening experience-for both children and parents. How do parents know their child is ready to take this major step? And what do children-and parents-need to know in order for the experience to be a safe positive one? A City of Sheboygan police officer helps youngsters prepare for the 'home alone' experience. Their interactive presentation includes general safety information, basic health concerns, and guidelines for parents and children to consider when developing their personal 'home alone plans.' Fee $20 per family (includes pizza/soda/water).
