Community Benefits Report
We are proud to present our annual Reports to the Community.
Guided by our mission, vision, and values, St. Nicholas Hospital provides family-centered, compassionate care without regard for a persons race, creed, or ability to pay. In doing so, we embrace the need to care for the poor and the sick. In Fiscal Year 2008, 5.6 percent* (excluding the unpaid cost of Medicare) of St. Nicholas Hospitals total operating expenses more than $3.5 million went toward total community benefits for the poor and the broader community.
*The unpaid cost of Medicare is no longer included in these reports. However, it continues to be a Nation-wide concern for healthcare organizations.

St. Vincent's Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center are our Sister hospitals in Green Bay. Together, we make up the NE Wisconsin Region for the Hospital Sisters Health System. We collaborate on a number of projects to help us stay fiscally competitive while promoting quality healthcare. The Regional Annual Report presents a number of ways each community benefits from the efforts of the three hospitals working together.
