With 13 hospitals throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is one of the largest Catholic-sponsored health care systems in the United States. Our goal is to continue to improve and advance our hospitals. HSHS is sponsored by The Hospital Sisters of St. Francis, the American Province of the Hospital Sisters of the Third Order Regular of St. Francis a religious congregation founded in Telgte, Germany, in 1844.
