St. Nicholas Hospital Awarded 4-Star Customer Service Award

Sheboygan , Wis. --St .Nicholas Hospital received the 2008 PRC 4-Star Patient Perception Awards for its Home Health Department and In-Patient Unit.

The Patient Perception of quality of care research obtains the opinions of patients at St. Nicholas Hospital via telephone for a confidential interview to assess their perceptions of the hospital's quality of care. A 4-Star is awarded when a hospital has achieved a 75 percent or better rating from the patients that are surveyed during the prior calendar year.

"As the assistant administrator of patient care services, I am extremely proud of the entire staff of the hospital and home health for achieving this level of recognition," said Michele Oostdyk, Assistant Administrator Patient Care Services. "Every employee of this hospital has in some way assisted in achieving this level of recognition."
