FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Good Friday Blood Drive Returns to St. Nicholas Sheboygan , Wis. — The 13th annual Good Friday blood drive sponsored by St. Nicholas Hospital and Sheboygan area Catholic Parishes will be held Friday, April 22. Donations benefit the Blood Center of Wisconsin, which provides blood products to more than 50 medical centers in Wisconsin, and is the single source of blood products for Sheboygan hospitals. Donations made to this drive support patient care here in Sheboygan. "Like many other holidays when people travel or have lots of activities, Easter is a challenging time to collect blood," said Tony Servais, Blood Center of Wisconsin. "With only a three-day blood supply available to hospitals and patients, any interruption in routine donations can reduce this available supply," he said. Basic requirements for donating blood include being at least 17-years-old (16-years-old with parental consent) and in general good health. It takes less than an hour to donate. Please bring a driver's license or state ID. Good Friday Blood Drive
