FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Physician Receives Prestigious Awards Sheboygan , Wis. — Sridhar Vasudevan, MD, Director of the Center for Pain and Work Rehabilitation, St. Nicholas Hospital, has received two prestigious awards. The Wisconsin Medical Society honored Dr. Vasudevan with the Meritorious Service Award for his valuable contribution to the organization, the profession of medicine and the people of Wisconsin. Dr. Vasudevan served three years on the Wisconsin Medical Society's Board of Directors, six years of service on the Finance Committee, including three years as vice chair, and three years of service on the Audit Committee. Dr. Vasudevan has also been named one of the Best Doctors in America® for 2011 - 2012. The Best Doctors in America® list is compiled by surveying more than 40,000 physicians who have made the list in recent polling. These doctors rate the clinical abilities of other physicians and are asked whom they would go to themselves. Only about 5% of physicians in the U.S. have made it on the Best Doctors in America® list. Dr. Vasudevan's specialties include Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Management/Pain Medicine, Electrodiagnostic Medicine and Disability Medicine.
