Patients will experience a private entrance for cancer care, electronic medical records for medical and radiation oncology plus private communication systems for staff consults. This warm and spiritual atmosphere includes 2,400 square feet of ground level healing gardens and water features plus a 22,000 square foot living roof with walking paths for patients and families to rest and reflect.

State-of-the-art equipment includes, a CT simulator, 3D imagery for dosimetry, a Trilogy® linear accelerator and chemotherapy treatment area with private and semi-private options.

This expansion was built with the environment in mind as it maximizes use of day light, 90 percent of rainwater is recycled as irrigation and all storm water passes through a bio-filtration system to purify runoff water. Water-saver technology is used throughout the building and materials are low-PVC or PVC-free with natural finishes of wood and stone. Energy efficient heating and cooling was installed with heat reclamation devices in place. More than 88 percent of construction materials were recycled into 14 different waste streams.
