The Partners of St. Nicholas Hospital to Sponsor Books Are Fun Sale

Sheboygan, Wis.—The Partners of St. Nicholas Hospital will be sponsoring a Books Are Fun Sale on Thursday, May 6, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Christopher Room at the Hospital.

Books Are Fun is a Reader's Digest Company that offers a fine selection of books and unique gift items at incredibly low prices.

All proceeds from the book sale benefit the Partners of St. Nicholas Hospital Scholarship Fund. Each year, the Partners award five $1,000 scholarships to area high school graduating seniors who will be pursuing careers in a healthcare field at a four-year university, college, or nursing school.

The Partners are a non-profit organization of men and women dedicated to promoting the interests of St. Nicholas Hospital and its patients by providing volunteer time as well as providing supplemental income for the Hospital through fundraising. Partner members also belong to the Partners of Wisconsin Hospital Association, a statewide non-profit organization that promotes hospital volunteerism, health education, public policy education and advocacy to Wisconsin hospitals.
