St. Nicholas Hospital Announces Director of Emergency Department and Women's & Infants' Services

Sheboygan, Wis.--St. Nicholas Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Marcia Hellmer, RN to the Hospital's leadership team. Hellmer accepted the position as Director of the Emergency Department and Women's and Infants' Services. She will also oversee the nurses in the Hospital's cath lab.

Hellmer began her nursing career in the Hospital's Cardiac Step-down/ICU Department. For the past 14 years, she worked in Home Health. She was the Regional Director for the VNA of Wisconsin overseeing four offices in eastern Wisconsin . Prior to that, she was the Manager of the Sheboygan VNA office. "We are thrilled to have her come back to the Hospital and confident her years of leadership experience will be of great benefit to the Departments she will manage and the Hospital," said Michele I. Oostdyk, RN, Assistant Administrator, Patient Care Services.

Hellmer started in mid-March and worked with Bobbi Illig, RN outgoing Director of the Emergency Department and Women's and Infants' Services for a smooth transition. Illig accepted a new position at the Hospital as the Meditech Project Manager.
