FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE St. Nicholas Laboratory Receives Reaccreditation from College of American Pathologists Sheboygan, Wis. — The St. Nicholas Hospital Laboratory has been awarded reaccreditation by the Accreditation Committee of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on the results of a recent onsite inspection. "The entire Laboratory staff works hard to meet the high performance standards of the College of American Pathologists in everything they do on a daily basis. I am honored to have such a committed staff and appreciate all of their efforts toward this major accomplishment." said Lynn Jelenc, Director, Laboratory Services. During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examined the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. CAP inspectors also examine laboratory staff qualifications, as well as the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, in addition to the overall management of the laboratory.
