FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE St. Nicholas Hospital Hosts Class for Mature Drivers Sheboygan , Wis. — Even the most experienced drivers can benefit from brushing up on their skills. On April 21, St. Nicholas Hospital offers that opportunity through the AARP Driver Safety Program. Since 1979, this program has helped millions of drivers stay safe on the roads by assisting mature drivers in learning how to adjust their driving to compensate for age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time. Participants will also learn about the effects of medication on driving. "St. Nicholas Hospital has been sponsoring the AARP Driver Safety Program for years, and it has been a very popular program in our community," said Susie Runaas, Community Education Lead Specialist, St. Nicholas Hospital. There is no written test or behind the wheel training. The fee for AARP Members is $12, for non-members it's $14. Participants must bring their drivers license and AARP membership card to class. Checks are accepted, payable to AARP. AARP Driver Safety Program
