FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE St. Nicholas Hospital to Host Annual "A Visit with St. Nicholas"
Dressed in his traditional red mantle and carrying a crook, St. Nicholas will greet children and pass out treats. Festivities will also include refreshments and musical performances. Children must be accompanied by an adult. In keeping with the giving spirit of St. Nicholas, children are asked to bring a new toy to put in St. Nicholas' toy chest and/or new mittens, scarves, and hats for the Hat and Mitten Garland. Gifts will be donated to Bridgeway House, Safe Harbor, and other local service agencies for distribution to children in need in our community. Gifts should not be wrapped. We encourage attendees to bring a camera for this great photo opportunity. Due to the flu outbreak, we ask that children exhibiting flu-like symptoms not enter the hospital. As a way for these children to still provide a toy to St. Nicholas' toy chest, please call 920/459-4739 in advance to arrange a delivery time for your child's gift. St. Nicholas Hospital is a non-profit hospital sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis located at 3100 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Their mission and vision is to provide family-centered, compassionate care without regard for race, creed, or ability to pay.
