FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A Visit with St. Nicholas Sheboygan, Wis.More than 200 children and adults attended "A Visit with St. Nicholas" at St. Nicholas Hospital on December 5. This annual holiday tradition celebrated the feast of our patron saint, St. Nicholas, and his spirit of giving to children in need. Each child was encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy or winter apparel to present to St. Nicholas, resulting in the collection of 85 toys as well as over 300 hats, scarves and mittens. Gifts and winter apparel will be donated to local service agencies for distribution to children in need in our community. Dressed in his traditional red mantle and carrying a crook, St. Nicholas greeted children and passed out treats. Festivities also included refreshments and performances by a children's choir from St. Dominic Catholic School and a choir from St. Peter Claver Parish. St. Nicholas Hospital is a non-profit hospital sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis located at 3100 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Their mission and vision is to provide family-centered, compassionate care without regard for race, creed, or ability to pay. This is achieved through the core values of respect, care, competence, and joy. To learn more, visit www.stnicholashospital.org . CONTACT: Xue Yang
