FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE St. Nicholas Hospital Celebrates National Volunteer Week Sheboygan, Wis. -- People from the community and employees gathered Wednesday, April 30th, 2008 to say a special thanks to the hospital volunteers. Volunteers and employee's attended a prayer service held in St. Nicholas Hospital Chapel. Following the service everyone was invited to the hospital cafeteria for a reception and continued celebration. Susan Sellars, Volunteer Services Specialist, was pleased with the turn out. "I was very pleased with the attendance. To me, the reward is seeing the volunteers having a good time." said Sellars. Wednesday's hospital wide event was in addition to special recognition within each department during the week. St. Nicholas Hospital has 207 total volunteers that help in various departments throughout the hospital. Sellars added "Our volunteers are a humble group; they don't like to call attention to themselves, but they do enjoy what we do to celebrate them."
