HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital will celebrate Pastoral Care Week Oct. 22-28, in honor of those who serve in various ministries and provide spiritual healing to others in need.

Share of Northeast Wisconsin at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan serves as a resource for families who have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, early infant death or SIDS, regardless of where their loss took place.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and its partner, Prevea Health, recommend ten fruits and vegetables that everyone should keep in their kitchen this fall.

A Walk to Remember, a pregnancy and infant loss awareness walk hosted by Share of Northeast Wisconsin, will take place 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.

As a new school year approaches, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and its partner, Prevea Health, encourage everyone to make the health and safety of their family a priority. Every parent wants their child to have a successful year, and taking time to consider their needs for health and safety can help them start the year off right. 

Tickets are now available for A Taste of Fall on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Breaking Bread in Sheboygan. The annual event is hosted by the Partners of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, with proceeds benefitting cancer services and patients at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Regional Cancer Center.

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), which has four hospitals located in Northeast Wisconsin, has been named “Most Wired” by the 19th Annual HealthCare’s Most Wired® survey, released this month by the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Health Forum. Hospital Sisters Health System’s Northeast Wisconsin locations include: HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay; HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan; and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. 

On Wednesday, July 26, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health will offer free stroke screenings at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital. Participants will meet with a registered nurse who will check their blood pressure and pulse, review their stroke history and provide education to help control personal risk factors for stroke.
