Therese Pandl, President and CEO of Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) – Eastern Wisconsin Division, is the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Service Award which recognizes senior executives who have made an exemplary commitment to the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) and the communities they serve.

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital, HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital and Prevea Health have launched a toll-free helpline designed to help Medicare patients select a health plan that fits their needs.

During October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Prevea Health and its hospital partners want to remind everyone about the importance of breast health and breast screenings.

Electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) have been the most commonly used tobacco product among U.S. youth since 2014, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In 2018, CDC and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) data showed that more than 3.6 million youth, including 1 in 5 high school students and 1 in 20 middle school students, were past-month e-cigarette users.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital will unveil its newly-remodeled radiation oncology suite at a community open house on Monday, Sept. 23.

Tickets are now available for A Taste of Fall, an event hosted by the Partners of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital to benefit HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Cancer Services.

A new school year is on the horizon! HSHS St. Vincent, St. Mary’s, St. Nicholas and St. Clare Hospitals offer the following steps parents and children can take to ensure a healthy, positive and stress-free experience.
 

The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), has granted Three-Year Accreditation to the cancer care program at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
 

With summer in full swing and high temperatures in the forecast, HSHS St. Vincent, St. Mary’s, St. Nicholas and St. Clare hospitals encourage everyone across Northeast Wisconsin to be familiar with the signs and symptoms of heatstroke, as well as the steps that can be taken to avoid heatstroke.
