Tickets are now available for A Taste of Fall, an event hosted by the Partners of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital to benefit HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Cancer Services.

As a new school year approaches, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health encourage everyone to make the health and safety of their family a priority.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Cancer Services and the Aging Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Sheboygan County will host a presentation about disability deteremination and benefits from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6 in the Christopher Room at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health are pleased to announce another session of Bridge to Wellness® – a 10-week series designed to help cancer survivors find healing and wellness – in collaboration with Sports Core in Kohler.

The American Cancer Society reports approximately 1 in 9 men in the United States will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime; and out of those diagnosed and treated, about one-third will experience a recurrence of prostate cancer. 

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) – Eastern Wisconsin Division has announced the appointment of Dr. Rich Cooley as Chief Physician Executive of its four hospitals in Northeast Wisconsin: HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay; HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan; and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health are pleased to offer a new, state-of-the-art treatment for acid reflux called, LINX – in the Sheboygan region.  

Summers are synonymous with state fairs, festivals, outdoor concerts and carnivals. Good music, tasty food, fun rides and games at these events draw large crowds every summer. HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital wants to ensure those who attend fairs, festivals and concerts this summer stay safe and healthy. 

With high temperatures in the forecast, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital and Prevea Health urge everyone to be familiar with the signs and symptoms of heatstroke, as well as the steps that can be taken to avoid heatstroke.

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital’s 2017 efforts to provide families with donation options and information have been recognized by the American Tissue Services Foundation (ATSF) with the Tissue Donation Recognition Award. This is the hospital’s third ATSF award since 2010.
