If surgery is right for you, we have two surgical centers to best meet your needs.

Inpatient Surgery
HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital is home to all inpatient orthopedic care, such as total hip and knee replacement surgeries or spine surgeries, providing around-the-clock care for patients and their families. During the hospital stay, the patient may receive inpatient physical and occupational therapy services to help with the recovery process.

Outpatient Surgery
The HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital Sheboygan Surgery Center is an outpatient facility offering patients the opportunity to have select surgical procedures, which do not require an overnight stay, be performed outside the hospital setting.

After surgery, you may be referred to outpatient physical or occupational therapy at Prevea Health to help restore movement, relieve pain and/or regain strength. The therapist will work closely with your provider to develop an individualized treatment plan to get you moving again and back to the things you enjoy most in life.
