Prevea Health Wins National Improvement Award

Green Bay, Wis. —Prevea Health is proud to announce that Press Ganey Associates Inc. has named it a 2009 Success Story Award Winner. Press Ganey partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities to measure and improve the quality of their care, and their bottom line. The company’s databases are the largest in the industry, and allow facilities nationwide to benchmark their results against peer organizations. The most successful organizations are honored annually in one of six categories. The Success Story Award recognizes facilities that have demonstrated leadership, implemented organizational change, and increased customer satisfaction. Prevea Health is one of six organizations to have received this honor, and is the only medical practice (non-hospital) client winner.

Members of Prevea Health, including President & CEO Dr. Ashok Rai, were on hand this week in Washington, D.C., to receive the award. Dr. Rai congratulated Prevea Health physicians and staff on the achievement. "We have demonstrated successfully, through our improved Press Ganey scores, that we can initiate change, improve patient care, and increase physician and employee satisfaction. That is key. We are able to provide some of the best health care in the country without sacrificing that personal and quality connection with the patient."
